Photo Organizing Process

During an on-site visit, we will have an opportunity to review your goals, learn how you want to enjoy your collection and gather family information to help with organizing your collection. The Discover Session typically lasts 2-5 hours.

We then bring your collection to our studio in Playa Vista. Here, we take a comprehensive inventory of your analog and digital collection to provide you with a detailed Photo Management Plan aligned with your goals.

Once the Photo Management Plan is approved, we begin organizing and curating your collection to ensure all memories are chronological and all duds, dupes, and non-important assets are removed from the collection.

If your collection includes digital and analog media, we will begin by organizing and curating the digital because digital assets are prone to loss, and you’ll see results faster.

We digitize family photographs, transform home movies into digital format, and create a secure, easily searchable, and readily shareable Family Photo or Video Archive.

Our studio uses advanced digital imaging technology with the same camera scanning system in museums and archives worldwide. This technique guarantees the safety and delicacy required for your cherished memories. Our meticulous attention to detail is evident in every project we deliver. Our clients are in awe that every file they get back has been re-named and re-dated, so your library is sortable on any platform.

We deliver all preserved collections in beautiful archival boxes labeled for easy access. We also include a USB Thumb Drive or External Hard Drive, depending on the size of your collection.

We will help you design a photo backup strategy that suits your level of technology and offer an ongoing maintenance plan, so you can continue to enjoy the memories you make.
