My parents had 8+ decades of family photos and memorabilia in boxes plus more that 5000 slides that had never been curated. My dad had passed and I so wanted to give my sweet mom the gift of being able to see and remember all the beautiful times of her life before she completely lost her eyesight and memory, which were both rapidly fading.
Haleh stepped in to quickly help me organize everything. She and her staff lovingly cleaned, scanned, re-named all metadata, archivally boxed, and digitally organized everything into a beautiful online website for our family, making it easy to find a memory in just a click! We now have digitally preserved pages from my parents' baby books, important certificates dating as far back as great-grandparents, and so much more. All this was done in a super timely-manner and my mom was able to enjoy seeing everything. She was reminded of memories and stories that brought tears to her eyes...and mine.
Another wonderful benefit is that my entire extended family is able to enjoy the gift of all these memories too! The younger generations, as well as future generations, will have their family heritage and legacy right at their fingertips and always accessible thanks to the great work performed by Haleh and her team.

My organization guru referred me to Picturli. I wanted to respectfully honor a loved one's artwork by making it into a professional-looking book/website for my family to have a full collection of artwork at home. DIGITIZE FAMILY FILMS
I went to a local big box store to have my wedding tapes digitized. On our anniversary we decided to watch the DVDs and realized they were worthless and unwatchable. I was devastated since I had thrown out the originals. Luckily one day I came across the original tapes and swore I’d never touch them again. Then after finding boxes of old film reels at my parent’s home, I started to consider digitally restoring our memories. As luck would have it, I came across Haleh and Picturli and I decided to give her a chance after extensive conversations on how she cares for the footage and oversees the process. Picturli saved my family’s vintage films. I was desperate to find a way to bring my parents’ old film reels to life. They helped digitize our treasured memories which I was able to share with my entire family. She meticulously documented the dates and locations and brought back so many precious memories which had been lost forever. They also helped digitize all of my home videos of my own children and our wedding, which had brought us incredible joy, laughter, and tears of happiness. ORGANIZE & SCAN DECADES OF FAMILY MEMORIES
Haleh intuited the energy and personalities of my ancestors from a jumbled, dusty collection of boxes of photos and documents dating back to the late 1800’s. She lovingly organized them chronologically, labeled them by decade and with names, and scanned each one carefully. And finally she put them in beautiful, archival boxes. She gave new life to my family members that have been gone for over a century or for many decades. The photos had been in a family vacation home susceptible to fire and were rarely seen. Now they are protected and accessible to all future generations.

ORGANIZE & SCAN A CENTURY OF FAMILY PHOTOS
Incredibly high quality work! Picturli created very high resolution digital copies of my family photos from as far back as the 1860's. I can now zoom in and really see the expressions in my ancestor's eyes and details of their clothing. They also built a searchable and shareable photo database to help me in my genealogy work, reorganized and packed all of the photos into archival storage boxes and created a bound book guide to the family. Their service is far more than a mere digitizing service; they researched some of my family for me, identified everyone in each photo and helped me build a storyline. I cannot recommend them enough!! I am contemplating having them do a video of my mother telling family lore so we have a permanent record of her doing that telling, which is so much more compelling than merely writing the stories down.

PHOTOS FOR LIFE CELEBRATION

LUXURY PHOTO ALBUM
My wife Kitty Felde and I had a beloved cat named Chesapeake, 8 years as a high-rise cat in Washington DC and 2 years as an outdoor cat in Los Angeles. Last year she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, which made us very sad. So I approached Haleh and Alan and asked them if they could make an album of dozens of pictures of the cat. I wanted it to be Kitty's Big Birthday Present this year. The first thing Haleh said was, of course, but, how about if it's an album of Chesapeake AND your life with Chesapeake? This was only the beginning of how Haleh not just inserted photos but designed a narrative to tell the story of our life during the ten years that we shared it with Chesapeake. She extracted details from me. She counseled. She guided. She prodded. She suggested adding captions -- so that someone looking at this album a century hence would know what the heck they were seeing. She coached me so that the captions not just described the photos, but made them sing and soar.
And her design and array of the photos themselves is truly an artistic creation.
So in the end the product we now hold is a priceless and beautiful record, and tribute, and a tableau of ... let's see, almost 20% of our life!
